Well, I officially have spring fever. It is not because the schools have spring break this week, my son is off from student teaching this week, and he went to Louisville with the baseball team he helps coach, but no, my spring fever comes from the Masters Golf Tournament starting today. I can’t wait to start playing golf regularly (in warm weather) Even if you are not a golfer, the Augusta National Golf Course is absolutely beautiful. Dogwoods, azeleas, green trees, beautiful green fairways and greens………….God’s handiwork in an awesome display. Athletic abilities in an awesome display. I can’t wait for my season to begin. Yup, I caught the fever today. There will be golf soon. Can’t wait.
I should learn to play. Shawn has taught Haley and she loves to play, although her “playing” in mainly done in the front yard.
I was beginning to get spring fever, but the cold and rain have kinda doused it. Donnie tells me we are going to play golf this summer—can you imagine!
Randy has already been out several times. I “golf” too but only when the weather is pretty. It’s spitting snow right now!
I got my first set of clubs recently, and the kids both play with their daddy as well. I’m looking forward to spending time on the course with them. We went down to Augusta 3 years ago for the Masters and it is absolutely gorgeous! I got pictures made with several golfers and got lots of autographs. I was very excited, and I didn’t even really like golf then! Today, I watched it all day long! It’s like the official start of spring!
